This course introduces the student to Washington State Electrical Code requirements, including the Revised Code of Washington (RCW 19.28), the Washington Administrative Code (WAC 296‐46B), and the National Electrical Code (NEC 70).
This class helps the trainee overcome the frustration towards these documents by improving their
understanding of the CODE’s content and organization, providing outlines, and showing the rationale of the documents.
Required Text: Required Text: National Electrical Code book; 2020, 2017 or 2014 edition; current editions of the RCW 19.28 and WAC 296‐46B.
Provides 8 hours Basic Classroom Education for Trainees or 8 hours Industry Related for journey level certificates.

Drive straight ahead and up the slight hill to find any parking spot under or in front of the elevated building.
Just inside the front door, take the stairs up and you’ll find the classroom.
Please do not park in the Pizza Hut or Midas lots.
