Introductory Electrical Theory focusing on Ohm’s Law, the power equation, simple electrostatic models, and culminating
with circuit analysis and troubleshooting methods. Introduces series and parallel circuits.

Required Text: UGLY’s Electrical Reference, any edition.

Provides 8 hours Basic Classroom Education for Trainees or 8 hours Industry Related for journey level certificates.

Course number is WA2019-226, make sure you have not taken this course number before. You can look it up on the LNI website contractor verify tool, under your name. https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify

Students will review the material with the instructor using Zoom for distance learning. 

Students must:  

Be available for eight hours in front of a working computer or phone. 

Have drivers license or state photo identification for verification at the time of class..

Have installed the Zoom virtual meeting application. https://zoom.us/support/download

Have access to email. 

Have video and audio throughout the instructional period, both from and to the instructor 

Have a copy of the Ugly’s Electrical Reference. 

Have a prepared lunch and beverages. 

Have paper and writing utensil. 

Be able to take quizzes. 

Be aware if a student disconnects from the zoom meeting for any reason, they will not get credit for the class.  There will be no refunds.
