This course reviews the arrangement and structure of the National Electrical Code (NEC70). The best way to become proficient at navigating the code is practice combined with the right tricks and techniques. The instructor will review the organization and contents of the NEC, and introduce methods for finding information efficiently and interpreting it correctly. Students will be guided through a series of quizzes that cover each major section of the NEC, building an overall knowledge of the code.
You should have at least a basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code before taking this course – either through work experience or having taken at least one NEC class previously.
Required Text: National Electrical Code 2014 edition.
Provides 8 hours Basic Classroom Education for Trainees or 8 hours Industry Related for journey level certificates.
